We seek an ambitious and self-assured National Account Manager looking to make their mark as part of our N. American sales team. Someone who is passionate about helping retailers deploy technology that significantly improves their customer’s experience and their operating results. Our typical customer is a Tier I retail chain with 100 to 1,000+ stores and our typical order size is between $400k and $4M. Within the chain, you will be calling on VP or Director level executives in either Store Operation or Loss Prevention and navigating a high level and consultative sales process.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Sell industry leading products to the retail industry
  • You’ll own and manage a pipeline of tier one retail clients
  • Create interest in our solution and drive customers to trial our systems
  • Monitor results and analyze customer data to prove the ROI of our systems
  • Become an industry expert in how retailers increase sales and reduce shrink
  • Learn how to navigate the capital budgeting process and win large deals
  • Create and present compelling sales presentations to VP level executives across multiple disciplines within target key accounts
  • Use Salesforce.com to help you follow up on leads and build deeper relationships
  • Work closely with your sales application engineers, client success manager and project coordinator to ensure we deliver a high quality service to our customers

 Must-Haves:

  • A proven track record of achievement
  • The ability to conceptualize technical solutions
  • Able to navigate complex decision making processes within large retail organizations
  • Great communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Expertise in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least five years or either direct retail experience or direct sales experience
