What the Loss Prevention Research Council is prioritizing in 2026

The Loss Prevention Research Council opened 2026 with its annual kickoff event, laying out research priorities for the year: a multi-sensor Fusion Program for identifying problem areas, serial offender tracking across locations, and focused working groups on workplace violence and homelessness related incidents.

Indyme has already been working alongside LPRC on several of these fronts. Our joint field study on Freedom GO, run across five pilot stores with LPRC's research team, is the kind of real-world data collection the council is prioritizing more of in 2026.
